Black Death is a Rocket Executive who usually works in the shadows. He is currently 30 years old and has been working for Team Rocket for the past fifteen years, and an executive for the last seven.

Like many other members of Team Rocket, he joined the organization at a young age for protection and stability. Once he reached the age of 18, he was assigned to the squad responsible for targeted assassinations. For the next five years, he'd stay in this practice and steadily rose through the ranks until he became an executive for Team Rocket.

Due to the department he works in, and his usual shift being late at night while everyone else was asleep, most Rockets only knew of him by his given code name Black Death. He rarely was seen at Rocket headquarters or outposts, since during the day he's asleep to rest up for his night missions.

Black can be characterized as a cold and standoffish man, often putting his work before socialization and relationships. He has little to no interest in pursing a long-term relationship, but continues to engage in flings with pretty much whoever asks without strings attached. It's difficult for him to carry a conversation with his fellow Rockets since it was only recently that he started to converse with them more often. He appreciates any effort people make to hold a conversation with him, though, unless it's small talk.

He has a handful of bad habits, such as smoking and often inflicting excessive pain on his targets before terminating them. He has been written up a handful of times for this, but Black often disregards them due to performing a job well done every time and experiencing a thrill of adrenaline when he inflicts pain on others. Black is also trained in a multitude of different combat and fighting styles, and has an extensive range of knowledge of human anatomy to make him more efficient at executing his targets.
